I post latest report email from Jason in Niger and Oak tree propose sending the money for more seeds etc as this has made a real difference while they suffer there near famine conditions.

Ian, Some time ago you asked for an update and we have honestly been so involved with the emergency relief that I am not sure if I responded. We are distributing more that 1600 MT a month in the regions and doing 4000 meals a day for school children in Niamey. The gardening project has made a major impact at a time when the situation has been desperate. The yield would have been better in less dire times, but I have no doubt that the project has saved lives. We have had a request to provide additional seeds. 1,350 GBP would cover 15 gardening sites with seeds a a few basics. I am literally passing this request directly from the beneficiaries so I appreciate whatever you might be able to do. Kind Regards,Jason________
