Latest pictures of recent direct help to Pakistan

Our Colleague Aslam has returned form a successful mission to Pakistan supervising 3 free eye camps with over 250 patients treated and sight restored. Aslam went on to organise a number of cleft palate operation oppotunities performed free by Nick Hart a surgeon form England .
He then went to Sind province and arranged supply and transport of food . The photographs below show detals with captions.
At present we are trying to support release of a donation of 80,000 sleeping bags and 10,000 tents stuck in Karachi port with the unfortunately difficult customs officials resistng release of this vital aid to those who still live in the open following the floods.. Now involving our MP Valerie Vaz and our Foreign and Commonwealth Office as the nights are getting colder... the people have been waiting for the release of this aid shipment for over 4 weeks...
