The fund raising evening held at walsall Town Hall reached a total of £30,000. Over £24,000 was pledged on the night and £6000 raised from the charity auction and raffle.
Many many thanks to all who supported the evening.
This money will be taken direct to Pakistan on 15th October by Mohammad Aslam and this space will report back on how it has been spent. About £5000 will buy and install a large water filtration plant for example.
