More success in Pakistan

Aslam has just returned from the Liuquat Pah area of Northern Pakistan... a very northern part .. over 11hours by train from Islamabad.. which is the only really safe way to get there!

Over 240 cataract operations were done and about 60 cleft operations.. which means another 300 people can live independently and be accepted back into the community to live really useful lives... pictures and a more detailed report to follow.

Future plans are to take up offer of 'stent' heart operations to be provided free by Birmingham heart surgeon in South Africa , more cataract surgery to Pakistan plus an expansion of our work in Niger where the garden project will be expanded into schools and there is the invitation to set up some dental health project there... support from you all most appreciated.. we are making a real difference on a local level and can demonstrate that all funds are used to support the treatment costs such as eye drops.. no cost for surgeon time or their transport.
