update 2015

The projects under way are

-        The container is ready to go to the school we have built in partnership with Midlands International  Aid Trust and a number of members of the Midlands URC Church . The school is open and provides for up to 150  primary school children in an exceptionally poor part in the outskirts of Harare and is under constant monitoring by their previous Minister Wilbert who is now the Minster here in Walsall.

-        We have formed a partnership with a drug company and that will supply free to us  an unlimited amount of a drug ( £3 a tablet)  that treats those affected by a parasite that is the major cause of blindness in Africa. Some Countries there are now free of this river blindness disease and we are meeting up today to finalise plans to distribute effectively in the Congo

-        A refurbished dental surgery is ready to go to be installed in Kasguma hospital Kashmir ( I will supervise installation and training of staff) which we have joined in helping to build that provides access to health care for free to those who cannot afford to pay ( and keep checking this continues to be their policy)

-        We are continuing to fund free eye camps to treat cataracts with our partner Dr Usman who donates 3 days a month to operate.. ( he travels also at his own expense.. just back from Zimbabwe and await his report) ...we just provide the eye drops and materials. Another 180 cases will be treated this next month ( Kashmir)

-        The shelter project in Nepal has been carefully checked and money spent correctly on the 1000 + monsoon proof  emergency shelters. We have now put into place some education support for them in partnership with a very trustworthy international charity we work with ADRA ( seventh day Adventist movement)

-        We are lucky to have a team with Prof Gatrad and Mohammed Aslam . we are all like minded, aiming to target smaller often forgotten suffering communities with hands on aid support and a careful check mechanism travelling to the area always at our own  expense to make sure every penny is used properly and to the most deserving cases.

-        And much more
We thank all who have donated and helped in any way... A proud claim is that 100% of all donations are used at the front line for humanitarian support and that we carefully check on your behalf the distribution... travelling at our own personal expense to the different areas...
