We are pleased to report that this month of November Oak Tree was able to provide over 300 free cataract operations in the poorest area of Pakistan controlled Kashmir.. There simple operations are performed by Dr Usman who donates his time and we provide the eye drops, the diabetes blood test material and provision of lenses and dressings. These total £30 per patient.. to enable a patient to see again and so able to look after themselves and support their family by working seems an excellent deal and very well worthwhile. There operations were done deep in Kashmir where access to other medical care is very difficult.
Also the dental surgery in Kasguma has been very busy ... treating many patients free of charge.. a large number of blind patients from the nearby Orphanage in Didyal
